What has God done—and what is He doing now?
That question became the heartbeat of SEE What God Sees.
To help us glimpse what God has done and is doing in the lives of others and our own, with Scripture guiding our understanding and song carrying its truth into daily life.
More than a collection of songs.
SEE What God Sees grew from moments in Scripture when familiar stories opened in a new way—when the visible events pointed toward a deeper work of God.
Behind the Veil
Through Jesus, we draw near to God. “Behind the Veil” expresses a glimpse of His work, understood through His Word. We do not see everything God sees; we learn to trust what He has revealed. Our hope rests in Jesus’ death and resurrection and the grace He gives us.
Read Hebrews 10:19–22Our mission
To guide us from Scripture through insight into song: deepening biblical understanding, inviting a personal response, and encouraging us to trust, worship, and follow Jesus in everyday life.
My Journey
I am Chaplain (Colonel) Christopher G. Morris, United States Army, Retired. My journey of ministry has taken me through local churches, military units, hospitals, correctional facilities, and commands at home and overseas. I earned a Bachelor of Ministry in Bible, Homiletics, and Evangelism and a Master of Divinity.
The Next Chapter
After retiring, I began a new journey of discovering God’s purpose for the next chapter of my life. Abundant Life Church’s call to “take your next step” and be “living proof of a loving God to a watching world” has deeply influenced that journey.
Ministry and Missions
Today, I lead a men’s group, mentor men, and serve alongside my wife, Michelle, in re|engage marriage ministry at Abundant Life. Together, Michelle and I have discipled men and women, while God has also opened doors for me to minister in hospitals, prisons, and addiction-recovery centers.
Through mission work in India, Mongolia, and South Africa, God continues to reveal His truth—helping me and others see His work and pointing us to the hope and freedom found in Christ.
How the Songs Are Born
SEE What God Sees grew from this continuing journey of faith and obedience. Although I am formally trained in ministry and theology, I have no formal training in music or songwriting. I have learned to become still, listen for God’s voice through the Holy Spirit, and allow Scripture to speak into my life experiences. It is in those moments—where Scripture meets life—that songs are born.
Faith and Family
My wife, Michelle, and our family have been an important part of this journey. I am grateful for our children and grandchildren and for the many ways God continues to reveal His faithfulness through every season of our lives.
My Prayer
My prayer is that each song draws us into the stillness of God’s presence, where He awakens hope within us and gently reveals the freedom of knowing Him and learning to see what God sees.
Scripture
We open our Bibles and read the passage in context.
Insight
We reflect on God’s character and the truth His Word brings to our lives.
Song
We carry that truth into prayer, worship, and a faithful next step.
